Ringtones

Question: How to cut songs into ringtones?

I want to take normal MP3s and edit them into songs and files small enough to be the ringtones on my phone. Is there any free software packages I can download that you would recommend? I just need something simple and don't want to pay anything or get viruses. Thanks in advance.

Dvd video soft free studio type it in google and download it, its got loads of cool tools on there so you can download songs from youtube aswell.

You can just sign up for myxer.com (its free) just upload your song & cut it to what you want & you can even make the volume even louder.

Audacity is really good but you have to download it, if you download from the actual site you probably wont get a virus. somebody already answered with all the info about audacity another alternative is makeownringtone.com makeownringtone.com/ you can upload your own music files, cut them, make them as long as you want, fade out or fade in, and much more. then you just download your finished ringtone here is another blog that makes and uploads free ringtones, i believe they take requests freeringtones101.wordpress.com/
